Welcome to Activate Wits: a diverse student society dedicated to protecting the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, intersex, asexual and allied students on campus at the University of the Witwatersrand. As a social support group, we promote the equality, acceptance, and personal pride of our members and we are dedicated to outreach for those in need of our assistance and solidarity. Not only are we committed to providing INSANELY fun parties, but also a safe place for people to network and discuss LGBQTIA issues with each other. Anyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is welcome to join us! The only thing we don't tolerate is hate: welcome home!
